Why We Built This Site
North Carolina's unified court system makes a statewide case search possible, yet the practical source changes with the request. The Portal can show a public Register of Actions, while the Moore County Clerk of Superior Court keeps the county case file and issues certified copies. Court administration handles some calendar questions. The goal is to make those boundaries plain before a reader spends time with the wrong office or assumes that a web result contains every document.
Moore County joined Enterprise Justice and Portal in 2024. Converted data, historic paper files, and access restrictions can all affect a result. Official links, local contacts, court terms, and request distinctions are gathered here to make the public record route easier to understand.
What You Will Find Here
Each topic follows an official Moore County or North Carolina source, with an emphasis on a case, hearing, or public court document rather than generalized personal-record searching.
- Docket information: routes for criminal court dockets and civil court dockets.
- Hearing information: official channels used to check the court schedule.
- Search instructions: a docket search by party name, citation, or case number.
- File access: the clerk route for court case records and certification.
What We Cannot Do
Moore County Court Docket is privately operated and has no connection to a North Carolina court, clerk, or government agency. The official record holder, not this resource, controls the case file and court calendar.
- We cannot obtain an official case file or docket on a reader's behalf.
- We cannot set, change, or confirm a hearing.
- We cannot seal, expunge, amend, or remove a court record.
- We cannot issue a certified copy, transcript, or court order.
- We cannot provide legal advice about a pending matter.
Only the Moore County Clerk of Superior Court or the court that maintains the matter can provide an official or certified court record.
Search Partners
Some content pages contain a third-party search widget marked as sponsored. Its provider sets its own service terms and prices. A paid result from that provider is not an official Moore County court record, and the official clerk or court remains the place to verify a case, setting, or document.
